Cathy Bélanger

This is Cathy, the incredible artist behind the visuals of the bottles! As an accomplished artist and exceptional soul, she quickly grasped the essence of Les Spiritueux Nomades. Please don’t hesitate to follow her page to follow her projects!

‘‘For as long as I can remember, my desire to create was always a part of my daily life. Drawing, painting, watercolours, collages and print-making are my favourite mediums. To make the Spiritueux Nomades labels, I used a mix of drawing and watercolours. Since I’ve always enjoyed classical botanical illustrations and studies, I felt very inspired for both labels.’’

Born in 1985 in Trois-Rivières, Cathy Bélanger completed her bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts at UQTR in 2007 and her DESS in college art education in 2010. She participated in her first collective exhibition in 2004 at the Galerie d’art du Parc in Trois-Rivières and at the Centre des arts de Shawinigan, amongst other locations. She participated in several group exhibitions including an exhibition at the C.O.A Gallery in 2014, an exhibition in parallel with the 10e Biennale internationale d’estampe contemporaine de Trois-Rivières as well as in various collective projects of the Atelier Presse Papier. She also accomplished other individual projects such as the illustration of beer and spirits labels, and the artistic design of a public piano at the Moulin Seigneurial de Pointe-du-Lac. Lastly, her prints have been acquired several times by the Bibliothèque des Archives nationales du Québec.
